Come and see a performance of *Monsieur Motobécane* at the Théâtre Montansier.

On his blue moped, Monsieur Motobécane roams the roads of Picardy. His daily life is turned on its head the day eight-year-old Amandine crosses his path. From this encounter between two souls battered by life springs a vibrant tale, constantly oscillating between humour and emotion. Carried by a unique, colourful and deeply moving narrative, the show takes us on a journey where words spring from the heart.

Driven by a naïve kindness, this unassuming farm labourer simply seeks to rescue the child from her family hell. But his act, motivated solely by a desire to protect her, backfires: he finds himself trapped in a cruel legal maelstrom and accused of the worst possible crimes. A deeply moving story about the fragility of a man overwhelmed by a world he does not understand.
