Come and enjoy the first opera in French, composed by Donizetti in 1840, during a special New Year’s Eve celebration.

A comic opera in two acts, with a libretto by Jules-Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges and Jean-François Bayard, first performed in Paris in 1840.

The New Year will be celebrated with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the Hall of Mirrors, for a finale that is as spectacular as it is unforgettable (subject to weather conditions on the day).
