Presentation
Observe, document, share: discover how photography helps to preserve our heritage.
To mark European Heritage Days, whose themes this year are ‘Photographic Heritage’ and ‘Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reinvent’, the Lambinet Museum is offering an introductory workshop led by a photographer.
A participatory workshop combining photography, observation and heritage, designed to help participants understand how images help to preserve the memory of works of art and objects over time.
Photography plays a vital role in the understanding, study and preservation of heritage. It enables us to document works, record their state of conservation and pass on the memory of places and objects.
Following an introduction to these issues, participants will be invited to observe and photograph an object from the collections from different angles, in the manner of genuine heritage documentation.
