Presentation

A discussion with Pakistani journalist Taha Siddiqui about the graphic novel Dissident Club, published by Glénat in 2023
Taha Siddiqui, a Pakistani journalist, was forced to flee his country in 2018 following an attempted kidnapping.
Demonstrating great independence from the authorities, he has consistently exposed corruption and the persecution of minorities.
His reports have been published in outlets including The New York Times, France 24 and Al Jazeera, and earned him the Albert Londres Prize.
Now living in exile in Paris, he has opened The Dissident Club, a bar that reflects the vital yet often silenced work of whistleblowers.
