Presentation

The Maison Littéraire de Victor Hugo is hosting a lecture dedicated to the links between Romanticism and the social question, explored through the works of three major 19th-century literary figures.
Ms. Anne Marie Callet Bianco, Associate Professor of 19th-Century French Literature at the University of Angers, will speak on the topic: "Eugène Sue, Alexandre Dumas, and Victor Hugo: The Romantics and the Social Question."

The session will specifically highlight *The Mysteries of Paris* by Eugène Sue, *The Mohicans of Paris* by Alexandre Dumas, and *Les Misérables* by Victor Hugo.
