As part of the Mois Molière 2026 festival, come and enjoy a concert performed by students from the Versailles Conservatoire.

The Early Music Department at the Conservatoire de Versailles Grand Parc is one of the most distinguished in France and Europe, thanks to its unique historical context, the reputation of its teaching staff, its distinctive teaching approach and its eclectic range of instruments.

Benefiting from its partnership with the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, the conservatoire paves the way for numerous educational collaborations and original artistic productions.

On the day’s programme: Open classes, instrument demonstrations and public performances (featuring students from the early stages as well as those embarking on professional careers)

The concerts celebrate, among other things, the anniversary of the founding of the ‘24 violins of the King’ and the music of Louis XIII. They bring together a ‘Harmonie du Roy’ with modern instrumentalists forming an oboe and bassoon ensemble.
