Discover the hydraulic systems designed during the reign of Louis XIV in the town of Versailles! To supply water to the fountains in the palace gardens, the Sun King commissioned extraordinary works, significant remains of which can still be seen in the town.
Follow in the footsteps of the reservoirs in the Notre-Dame district all the way to those on Montbauron Hill and discover the various water systems in operation and the ingenuity of the scholars who surrounded the king!
Special conditions:
Recommended for ages 12 and over.
Distance: 3 km.
City route: noisy areas, cobbled surfaces and hills. Please wear suitable footwear.
Not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
