La Grande Scène du Chesnay invites you to attend the play *The Disappearance of Josef Mengele*, adapted from the novel of the same name by Olivier Guez.
This play tells the story of Josef Mengele, who in 1949 began his flight across South America. Protected by false identities and benefiting from the political climate of post-war Argentina, the former Auschwitz torturer evaded justice for nearly thirty years. This account traces the dark trajectory of a shocking case of impunity at the heart of the 20th century.
