Robert, a prolific therapist and essayist, couldn't stand seeing his patients stagnate, so he decided to radically change his method. Too much reflection, introspection and sympathetic listening: it's time for action!
Robert, a renowned therapist and prolific essayist, couldn't stand seeing his patients stagnate, so he decided to radically change his method. Too much thinking, too much introspection, too much sympathetic listening: the time has come for action! At the same time, his brother mysteriously disappears at sea. He confesses within the walls of a psychiatric hospital. What is this unhinged, manipulative shrink guilty of? Tragic farce, crime novel, corrosive reflection on the threat of populism, a gritty dive into troubled waters.

Directing is all about assembling forces on a stage: my approach to adapting this text by Denis Michelis was to imagine François Cluzet on stage, thinking of his voice, his looks and the embodying power of his whole body.
