Presentation
Salle du Vieux Marché - Jouy-en-Josas, Saturday 31 January at 8.30pm. Bayou wind blows through the classics: the group revisits pop-rock hits for a surprising concert!
With their groove from the bayous, Macadam Farmer reinvent the great pop-rock hits in a show that's joyful, offbeat and terribly infectious.
We know all these timeless hits by heart, yet we're rediscovering them in a whole new light. Offbeat and inventive, Macadam Farmer gives the most famous artists (AC/DC, Bee Gees, The Beatles, Cindy Lauper, Queen, Prince, etc.) a flavour of the American South and the bayous of Louisiana. With an original line-up - vocals, guitar, harmonica, banjo, bassophone, washboard - Macadam Farmer invites everyone to a moment of pure conviviality: smiles on their faces, the audience goes from surprise to surprise!
The 1st album ‘MACADAM FARMER 1 - Tainted Love’ was released at the end of May 2024 on the Frémeaux & Associés label, distributed by Socadisc.
