A chamber comedy set on the edge of the afterlife…
Two characters: Arno, an unsociable barfly, and Olivier, an exasperating clarinettist.
Their meeting is set to turn their lives upside down… or at least what’s left of them.
One morning, they both wake up in a dilapidated old bar. Sylvie, the owner, informs them of their deaths. They have an hour to make a crucial decision: to choose which of them will spend eternity in the Garden and which will go to the Blaze.
For their debut play, Daniel Camus and Eric Brulé have created a dramatic comedy with a production that balances laughter and emotion: you grow attached to the characters, the acting is spot-on, and the dialogue is powerful. The poetry offers the audience a complete show not to be missed.
