Presentation

Place Hoche is a historic site in Versailles and was originally named Place Dauphine.
In the centre of the square stands the statue of General Lazare Hoche, sculpted by Henri Lemaire. The square is also popular for its large chestnut trees, which provide pleasant shade for local residents.
