Presentation
A true green haven just outside Versailles, the Château de Buc Park is the perfect place to unwind, whether with family, friends or on your own, in a setting that blends nature and heritage.
The park offers a variety of activities for all ages:
- sports fields and a street workout area for fitness enthusiasts
- the “Les Elfes” playground for children
As you stroll through the park, you’ll come across several remarkable features, including the Sphinx column, ornamental ponds, the Temple of Love, and of course the château itself, which shapes the landscape.
An arboretum to explore
The park is also home to an arboretum, perfect for a peaceful walk among a wide variety of trees.
More than thirty species are highlighted through an educational trail. Informational panels guide visitors along the way, helping you identify leaves and flowers, while explaining the important role these trees play in preserving local biodiversity.
With 529 trees representing 126 different taxa, this remarkable collection is carefully monitored. A recent assessment carried out by the National Forestry Office confirmed the overall excellent health of this arboreal heritage.
👉 An ideal outing combining relaxation, discovery and nature awareness.
