Presentation
Every weekend from 6 June to 27 September, the Palace of Versailles is offering a free botanical and fragrant getaway in the Jardin du Parfumeur.
On display at the Grand Trianon from 6 June to 27 September 2026, the Jardin du Parfumeur is open every weekend. It can be accessed free of charge from the Bassin du Trèfle via the sunken path.
The Jardin du Parfumeur offers a chance to reconnect with the atmosphere of 17th-century gardens. Located in the Châteauneuf Orangery, at the heart of the Trianon estate, this new garden, featuring hundreds of varieties of flowers, tells the story of perfume and its uses at the court of Versailles. This project was made possible thanks to the patronage of Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Nestled in the Orangery at Châteauneuf, this unique space invites visitors on a true sensory journey to discover the art of perfume as it flourished at the court of Versailles from the 17th century onwards.
The garden is open to all visitors for self-guided or guided tours and workshops during the “Jardin des Lumières” exhibition, from 12 noon to 6.30 pm (last admission at 5.45 pm).
