To mark the 22nd Rendez-vous in the Gardens, a number of guided tours and events will be exceptionally free over the weekend.

National Agriculture Days programme - 7 and 8 June, from 10am to 6pm

Saturday 7th June

11am, 2.30pm & 4pm: discover the Potager du Roi, its history and its agro-ecological growing techniques.

1pm: demonstration of a solar printer and oven
To mark the tenth anniversary of the Landscape and Energy Chair, Richard Loyen, General Delegate of ENERPLAN and founder of the Les festins photoniques association, will be demonstrating a solar printer and oven.

3.30pm to 6.30pm: The vegetable garden under the microscope
Microscopic observation of plants in the Potager du Roi with scientists from the Observatoire du Végétal (Institut Jean-Pierre Bourgin - Sciences du Végétal, INRAEInstitut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement-AgroParisTech), who will also be presenting the plant biology research carried out in their Versailles laboratory.

4pm: publication of the magazine Carnet du paysage n°46 D'autres agricultures (Other forms of agriculture)
Speakers: Jean-Marc Besse, philosopher and geographer, and Gilles A. Tiberghien, philosopher and art historian, co-directors of Carnets du paysage.
