Presentation
This year's Festival du Court métrage is once again full of surprising, captivating and promising discoveries...
This year's edition, 2024, features two evenings of national competition and three screenings reserved for children from primary schools in Vélizy-Villacoublay. The first competition features a selection of first works competing for the Audience Award. The second selection is open to more established filmmakers, competing for the Audience Prize and the Jury Prize, chaired by Pierre Pinaud.
Thanks to the large number of films entered each year, the presence of filmmakers, actors and producers, and the high attendance at screenings, the Vélizy Short Film Festival has become a major film event in the Île-de-France region.
After the screening, there will be an on-stage presentation by the film-makers and a public vote: 12 ballot boxes will be available in the Theatre lobby. Vote for your favourite short film.
