He'll be performing his latest album, Emotional Data.
In the space of ten years, Fred has carved out a winding and singular path between rock, slam, electronica and chanson.
With more than 20,000 albums sold and 400 concerts to his name, he and his accomplices Raphaële Lannadère and Babx - who are also much loved in France - demonstrate a demanding expression of the word.
Composed over three months in Marseille in his new studio, a stone's throw from the Vieux Port, it unfolds eleven tracks of electronic poetry, like a film, with percussive rhythms, mixing pianos and analogue synthesizers, all bathed in soundscapes from the artist's daily life (flat, beach, nightclub, parks...). There's a softness too, between the music's minimalist arrangements and the timbre of her voice, sometimes sung, sometimes spoken.
