Presentation
This exhibition puts the spotlight on plastic, transformed by artists into a genuine creative medium.
This exhibition offers a bold exploration of plastic, a substance that is often controversial, but which under the gaze of artists is transformed into a veritable vector of creativity and reflection. This material, which is part of our everyday lives, is revisited here to raise our collective awareness of the ecological issues surrounding its use.
The artists use recycled, rejected or transformed plastic to encourage us to think about our consumption and the impact we have on the environment. Plastic, here diverted, heated or reworked, becomes a powerful medium through which each artist expresses a unique experience. This exhibition is a powerful message about the way we interact with the world around us, with plastic as a symbol of our times.
Opening: Thursday 10 April at 7pm.
