Come and discover 14 FABLES de LA FONTAINE in the form of OPÉRA MINIATURE!

In a typical 17th-century cabinet of curiosities, filled with objects and surprises that are the stuff of dreams, the performers give voice to the famous fabulist and his characters, sketched with such humor and veracity.

La Cigale et la Fourmi (The Cicada and the Ant), Le Renard et la Cigogne (The Fox and the Stork), Le Corbeau et le Renard (The Raven and the Fox)… resonate in a whole new way in our ears, sublimated by the magnificent voices and acting talent of mezzo-soprano Marie Blanc and baritone Philippe Scagni.

The chiselled music of these miniature operas will delight young and old alike, as they (re)discover La Fontaine’s texts, which are both entertaining and profound, and which speak volumes about human nature.

This show is part of the 3rd edition of the Festival PIANOS D’HI(V)ER ET D’AUJOURD’HUI, created in partnership with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles Grand Parc.
