This tour is an invitation to discover or rediscover the scale and beauty of the royal city, its castle, its natural areas, its vegetable gardens, its many diverse districts, its cultural heritage, its sports facilities and its many events.
On the first floor of the building, you will find a relief plan of the town and château in the 18th century. This ensemble, which prefigured urban planning in many parts of the world, still structures the Versailles area today. The photographs taken in recent years reveal a spectacular site: the beauty, symmetry, originality, diversity and preservation of these landscapes are magnified and revealed from above. This exhibition offers both a global and detailed view of this historic heritage.
