Presentation
Fourteen guests of honour and 73 artists celebrate the 160th Salon of the Société Versaillaise des Artistes d'Ile de France in Versailles.
Founded in 1855, the Société Versaillaise des Artistes d'Ile-de-France (SVAIF) is France's oldest surviving artistic association.
Remaining loyal to Versailles through three wars and a pandemic, the Salon brings together contemporary artists who are friends of the arts.
For the past ten years, Françoise Frugier, president of the SVAIF, has been committed to promoting a strong artistic movement, that of artists from the Ile-de-France region, which is the most important region in France in terms of artistic production.
Since its creation, the Salon has sought to be original and independent, rewarding recognised talent and revealing new trends.
More than ever, the Association Versaillaise des Artistes de l'Ile de France is committed to supporting creativity in this great region by presenting high-quality works selected by a jury and awarding prizes.
For this 160th edition, art lovers are invited to meet the 14 guests of honour from recent years and the 79 artists of 2025, sculptors, painters, draughtsmen and engravers from the eight departments of the Ile-de-France region.
Artists 2025 in the spotlight:
Patrick Adam, Jean-Marc Bodin, Thierry Citron, Siméon Colin, Danièle Dekeyser, Jean-Christophe Ditroÿ, Jean Prevost, Daniel Lacomme, Jean-Christophe Levèque, Raphaël Mallon, Pascale Marchesini-Arnal, Bernard Métranve, Elisabeth Oulès, Tauss.
