Presentation

Maison Léon Blum and the town of Jouy-en-Josas are organizing the Nature Festival in the gardens of the house. Come and take part in different activities on the program: bird watching, biodiversity activities and discovery of bats
Come and enjoy activities on the theme of nature and biodiversity throughout the day!

- 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Bird watching in parks and gardens
With a professional ecologist, come and meet the birds of the region: with the help of listening, observation, and basic notions, you will be able to (re)discover the ornithological diversity that populates our parks and gardens. Come with your binoculars if you have them!

In addition to the discovery walk: identification game for children.

- In the afternoon
Biodiversity and life in the park soil activities
Green space agents from the town of Jouy-en-Josas will come to present their work, the beneficial effects of biodiversity in the museum park, and carry out experiments related to life in the soil.

A snack will then be offered for participants!

To echo the excitement, a temporary exhibition entitled “Under our feet, the earth, life” will be visible from May 25 to discover the biodiversity in the soil.

- 9 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Discovery of bats
Go on a mini-walk at the end of the day to discover funny mammals. A very natural outing to listen, watch, learn and get to know these animals with superpowers that see with their ears and fly with their hands. Say, what does a bat eat? And how do you see in the dark? And why don’t we see them in winter? Enriched with little games to better understand, accessible and open to all, this family adventure is waiting for you!
